About Me
I am a camera nerd, story teller, and adventurer. I grew up in Michigan, in the last house on a road with no streetlights, and a forest for a backyard. This setting nurtured a deep interest in the natural world and the exploration of it through a scientific lens. After living in New York City and Los Angeles, I have also developed an interest in the complexities of the human experience; how we both positively and negatively influence the world around us. These themes are the connective tissue of my work, uniting the abstract with an inherent natural state.
I received my MFA from Sarah Lawrence College and my BA from The University of Iowa. I currently live in Los Angeles with my wife, Renee, and work in film and television.
